About Bobby Norwood

Born and raised in Cookeville, Tennessee, Bobby Norwood is a lifelong resident of Putnam County. While attending Putnam County Schools and Tennessee Technological University, he has witnessed first-hand the growth and prosperity that has swept through the entire Upper Cumberland region. For nearly 10 years after college, Bobby pursued a career in the Automotive Industry using his Engineering Degree from TTU; working for a small, local Engineering company, he progressed and excelled in his roles in Design, Project Management, and Sales. There was always something missing during his time as an Engineer, though. Housing designs, floor plans, construction, rental properties, land, and land development had always been fascinating areas of interest for Bobby. He wanted to be able to further study and enjoy these exciting markets; but at the same time, he wanted a career that allowed him to help others experience the joys of being a part of the Upper Cumberland. Engineering just wasn’t meeting those needs, so Bobby decided it was finally time to make a career change. He chose to become a Real Estate Agent.

 

As a Real Estate Agent Bobby now explores and views the beautiful and unique properties that are located all across the Upper Cumberland. Farms with rolling hills, secluded homes hidden atop mountains or deep in wooded forests, luxury homes overlooking lakes and rivers, new constructions with the fresh smell of paint, 100-year-old classics that have been freshly renovated, hills and forests full of plants and wildlife; the Upper Cumberland really has so much to offer.

 

With so many amazing options, buying and selling Real Estate in the Upper Cumberland today is often a very fast paced and demanding market. Bobby’s years of Engineering experience in the Automotive Industry have prepared him well for succeeding in today’s fast-paced, competitive Real Estate market. His intelligence and problem-solving skills can help to provide clients with support in finding properties and evaluating their options in the current market; this helps clients to feel confident they are making a smart decision with their real estate sales and purchases. Throughout his entire life, Bobby has prided himself on excellence. He will work hard to ensure his job is completed and that it is done well. For Bobby though, life is more than waking up each day and going to work. He enjoys working hard and spending time assisting clients in buying and selling property in the beautiful Upper Cumberland, but he also enjoys getting to spend time with his friends and family in that same amazing community. Whether it be enjoying a day on Center Hill Lake, camping and hunting at the family farm, playing a round of golf, visiting one of the local breweries, or dining at some of the local restaurants, you can often find Bobby out and about visiting and sharing his time with friends and family in Cookeville and the surrounding areas.
